Education

I graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of National and World Economy in 2020. I am proficient in English. During the final two years of my studies, I completed internships within the civil divisions of the Sofia District Court and the Sofia City Court. My primary responsibilities included drafting judicial acts (orders and judgments) for cases involving contract and property law, as well as observing and discussing the development of legal proceedings. In 2019, I completed a course in Comparative Civil Procedure, where I had the opportunity to study the fundamental principles and practices of the German and American Civil Procedure. That same year, alongside colleagues – including attorney Kalibatsev – we formed a team to represent our university in several national competitions.

Professional Experience

Immediately after graduation, I began my career as a legal associate at a newly established law firm, working within a four-person team. As the firm expanded, my responsibilities grew to include comprehensive legal servicing and consulting for companies and non-profit organisations. Over the course of three years, my work primarily involved ensuring corporate compliance with applicable legislation, conducting negotiations, and structuring and monitoring contractual relationships between the firm’s clients and their counterparties and employees. My involvement in several litigation cases reignited my interest in the adversarial nature of civil procedure, which led me to qualify as an Attorney-at-Law and co-found klauza.bg.

Areas of Practice and Interests

My primary areas of expertise and ongoing professional development are:
  • Civil Litigation
  • Contract Law
  • Tort Law (Compensation for Damages)
